cut paper collage. later used as a front chest pocket area print on a GIVE UP shirt. mining future regrets, this is one of a rare few original collage pieces ever made available for purchase since 2001.

produced in (as best i can recall) sometime around 2016, this original “rose & razor” piece was constructed in the same manner as all other GIVE UP works - assembled from original photographs shot by the artist, photocopy manipulated and sized. the respective elements then hand collaged using scissors and glue, with small details touched up in ink. the final art then re-sized for its final screen printed destination.

this original piece is presented framed under glass (documented without glass to prevent any glare in photographing) with a white matt preventing any collage face contact with glass. signed and dated in pencil and ready to hang. actual collage image area roughly 4.5” x 3.75” mounted to 6.5” x 5.5” sheet of photocopied black paper, per the original construct. total with frame measuring 8.5” high x 6.5” wide x 0.75” deep.
