cut paper collage. comprised of four pieces cut from two photos. made in 2025 from photographs shot in ~2007. based on an original design concept from UNION skateboard wheels in the early/mid 1990s, just as relevant today.

this original “pistol” piece was constructed in the same manner as all other GIVE UP works - assembled from original photographs shot by the artist, manipulated and sized on a photocopier for contrast and toner degradation, with the respective elements hand collaged using scissors and glue. fine details then addressed in ink.

this original piece is presented framed under glass in a black frame with black mat. glass removed for documentation to prevent any glare in photos - final piece ships with glass intact in frame. signed and dated in pencil on reverse and ready to hang. actual collage image area 6” x 7.375” under 6” x 8” mat. total with frame measures 6.5” high x 8.5” wide x 0.625” deep.
