cut paper collage. comprised from two photos. made in 2025 from photographs shot in ~2006 or 2007. based on an original design concept from UNION skateboard wheels in the early/mid 1990s, just as relevant today. in variation on a theme this is the second reverse pistol by the artist. final image very likely destined for a 'give up' shirt at some point in the future.

this original “pistol 2” piece was constructed in the same manner as all other GIVE UP works - assembled from original photographs shot by the artist, manipulated and sized on a photocopier for contrast and toner degradation, with the respective elements hand collaged using scissors and glue. fine details and shadows then addressed in ink and china marker.

the finished piece is presented framed under glass in a black brushed metal frame with black mat. signed and dated in pencil and ready to hang. actual collage image area ~6.75” x 9” under 7” x 9” mat. total with frame measures 7.375” high x 9.375” wide x 0.875” deep.
