hand moniker acid etched bottle

‘give up’ hand moniker - as seen scrawled in oil stick on freight and rolling stock (etc) - presented here in a tangible folk-art take-home form.

~6.75” tall x ~3” wide 200ml hip flask style recycled glass bottle. moniker image is drawn over a mask, then cut by hand, and etched into the glass with acid leaving a permanent mark. it’s been a few years since i’ve made one of these. by nature of the hand-drawn process each one is unique and individual unto the bottle it’s applied to. scribe-signed and dated on the bottom.
