building my own self fulfilling prophecy of regret, this ABOMINATION piece marks only the 18th prized collaged original ever to be relinquishment from my personal portfolios since 2001. offered here to a good home before i change my mind and put it back in the files.

constructed in or around 2011 (as best memory serves) from upwards of 9 separate original photographs shot by the artist, photocopy manipulated for toner distortion, contrast, and size. the respective elements then hand collaged using scissors and glue, with fine details and shadow added in ink and china marker. the final artwork was originally intended as part of an album cover that never materialized (to my awareness) from a band i forget the name of today. to date it was never re-appropriated for use in any GIVE UP shirt, print, or other capacity. effectively being seen and offered here for the first time in total as the original.

presented matted and framed under glass, signed and dated in pencil, and ready to hang. actual collage image area measures roughly 10" x 9" affixed to a 14" x 10" sheet of acid-free heavy black paper. total presentation with frame 15” high x 12” wide x 1” deep. (framed photos shown without glass to save glare in documentation - finished product ships with glass in frame.)
