untitled (goat head)
acrylic on paper
73” x 48”
edition of 13
original image produced from photos shot by the artist, photocopy manipulated for contrast and distortion, then ‘cut n paste’ collaged over hand-painted background. no photoshop or other computer means. subsequent visual then enlarged to size for this screen printed edition.
single-color print, hand pulled by ‘give up’ in dark green acrylic ink on light weight grey ‘butcher paper’ type stock - appropriate for the original street-art paste-up intention. printed in 2006 and limited by both material access and workspace, these ‘untitled (goat head)’ prints were produced in an edition of only thirteen. final size of 73” tall by 48” wide with a print image area of 65”x 42”.
as these were originally produced strictly for street destination the edition was neither signed nor numbered (the prints made available here will be signed in pencil before shipping). if there was ever ambition to sell, there was never any effort put toward it. as such the individual prints were never treated in a pristine way (evidenced in the photos by the slight crimping of the outside edge - but nothing more than can be hidden under frame or matting). the four cleanest prints were stored rolled in a tube for artist posterity. recently exhumed from storage, 2 of the final 4 are made available for purchase now for the first time ever.
print ships wrapped in paper and rolled in heavy cardboard mailing tube, USPS priority rate in the US. currently not available for international shipping.
