after a 10-year hiatus houston's THE BURDEN return with a new 7-song 12" EP, a new lineup, a new perspective, and all the same vitriol. with current and former members of TXHC stalwarts TEN CROWNS, PRIDE KILLS, and LIBERTY & JUSTICE (among others) their signature sound remains intact, blending breakneck american hardcore, metal, and crust into a slurry not easy to categorize but potent enough to kill an elephant. featuring guest vocals by dwid hellion of INTEGRITY, "canonized" can easily find heavy rotation with fans of CURSED, IN COLD BLOOD, HIS HERO IS GONE, and beyond.

presented on grey marble vinyl in heavy matte jackets with two-sided insert, black inner sleeves, and hype sticker on outer sleeve. full art and layout by GIVE UP.

released by SCFL in germany in a limited edition of 250, only a scant number are available in the US. official street date isn't until february 2024 but a small handful are available for early release here now.
