i’ve painted alex’s name some number of times over the years, put her up in tags while doing public GIVE UP things. shortly after the discovery of a massive brain tumor in september 2021 that resulted in an immediate craniotomy and subsequent cancer diagnosis i made a grand declaration that i was going to do 1000 fills of her name and restarted the count.

documented here are a few from the first nine months. 40 black and white pages, pro printed in a signed and numbered first edition of 65. housed in a heavy card cover, hand screen-printed by GIVE UP in light blue ink on black stock (numbered sequentially following the pink cover edition available exclusively with the CMYK tanker print in separate listing). includes 4”x6” thermal printed sticker.
